This workshop is built for house of worship protectors. The course covers such topics as de-escalation, proper team development, deployment, and movement with equipment as well as scenarios developed from real-life situations that can and have happened in churches around the country.
The role of a house of worship armed protector is much more than showing up to church with a gun on your hip. We believe that a church safety and security ministry must be holistic in design and staffed with quality, qualified protectors that have a servant’s heart and the training of a warrior. We believe that all churches have risks which can easily turn into a crisis unless there are warriors with the proper knowledge, skills and abilities to counteract the forces of evil.
The course is presented in a fun, engaging, logical, building block style that allows time for plenty of Q&A and feedback. This course is designed to be student centric so each student walks away ready to be the best protector they can be. It is designed to allow you to not only practice your plan, but also identify deficiencies or changes that need to be made. All scenarios are designed to be engaging and thought provoking while also attempting to impact the Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) which leads to higher uptake and retention of the information for recall in a real-world scenario.
What to wear: Students should dress as they normally would for their church service in their protector role, to include equipment and quality holsters – just as you would normally wear for church.
There will be no live firearms and no magazines allowed in the classroom or teaching environment.

REFUND POLICY
Cancellations made within 30 days prior to a scheduled course will be provided a refund of 100% of the course tuition. Any cancellations with 15-30 days of the scheduled course will be provided a 50% of the course tuition. Cancellations within 14 days or less from the scheduled course date will not be refunded. Tuition may be transferred to another class if circumstances allow.
